Vulture Street will be closed between Main Street and Wellington Road from 3am Saturday 6 December to 4am Monday 8 December.

The closure is in place to complete repairs to “The Gabba” due to damage during the recent storms.

The detour route will ask motorists to turn right at Main Street and follow to Balaclava Street. Motorists will then follow Wellington Road back to Vulture Street

Motorists wanting to access businesses within this closure are asked
to detour to Linton Street Kangaroo Point and be directed by traffic controllers.
Motorists will be asked to park in an off street parking area and access the businesses via foot.

There will be Police Officers and traffic controllers on duty to direct traffic and assist with motorists throughout the closures.

The footpath outside “The Gabba” will also be closed and pedestrians will be asked by traffic controllers to cross at the Duke Street and Wellington Road set of lights on either side of the closure to the northern side of Vulture Street.
